A New and Vibrant Experience in the City
Hyatt Regency Trinidad is undergoing a refurbishment of all its guest rooms and public spaces.The transformation will be done in phases and expected to be completed at the end of April 2017.
Some restricted access and noise
Throughout this time, the hotel remains fully operational with some changes. Guests continue to be our priority and the hotel is doing everything possible to minimize disruption and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. During this time, there will be periods where sections of the hotel are not open to guests and there may be some noise.
Elevator and Pool Notice
Access to the pool is now via the 3rd floor. Exit the elevator on the 3rd floor and proceed in the direction of the rooms. Turn right (left will take you to the rooms) and follow the stairs in front of you that lead directly to the pool. Someone will also be there to guide you.
Temporary Re-location of Food and Beverage
We are still upgrading our Restaurant, Lobby Lounge, Lobby Bar and Sushi Bar. Restaurant service continues in the Lobby Lounge where you can dine on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful waterfront views.
Regency Club Re-located to the 22nd Floor
Club Service continues in our Presidential Suite - room 2201. This is a temporary arrangement until February 2017. Regency Club access is granted only to persons 18 years and over.
Spa Esencia Temporarily Re-located to the 10th Floor
We are in phase 4 of the refurbishment. Spa services continue on the 10th floor. In-house guests can dial extensions 1008, 1058, 6500 or the operator for more information.

Phases of the Refurbishment
Phase 1: (Completed)
Upgrade of some guest rooms, bridge/hallway leading to the Port of Spain Ballroom; the Port of Spain Ballroom and Foyer; the Conference Centre.
Phase 2: (November 2016 - February 2017)
Upgrade of some guest rooms; the Lobby Lounge, Lobby Bar, Terrace and Waterfront Restaurant. (To be completed by February in time for Carnival).
Phase 3: (December 2016 - February 2017)
Front Desk/Registration, Regency Club and all of Phase 2. (To be completed by February in time for Carnival).
Phase 4: (January - April 2017)
Suites; Spa Esencia; Regency Ballroom and Foyer; other meeting rooms on the second floor.
